What we do

 

Following a survey of the parish premises in 2015, it became clear that some extensive work was needed including replacement of the church roof.  The Fundraising Group was set up as a direct response to this. A separate Building Fund was also set up.

 

The Fund Raising Group hosts or supports a number of fund raising initiatives throughout the year. Fundraising initiatives include, cream-teas, concerts, fairs, lunches, dinners, etc. all Proceeds raised from the various fund raising events are put towards the Building Fund.

• You can make contributions and donations when events are being hosted - we are always in need of a wide range of items – keep an eye on the newsletter for calls for contributions.

​​

• You can offer to help on the days we hold events - large events like fairs always need people to help with setting up or running of stalls, smaller events also need extra support to cover refreshments etc.

​

• You can offer to plan and organise an event and we shall work with you giving you any additional support that you may need.

​

• You can volunteer to join the fund raising group.

​

• We are always looking for fundraising ideas so please do let us know if you have any.
